What to Expect  

We hunt in Northern California.  The terrain varies from canyon to canyon.  We hunt out of 4x4 pick up trucks and also 4x4 inline machines and quads.  We do our best to hunt in terrain that is not as brushy and steep but ultimately it is the bears decision where he wants to tree.  We are equipped with the best gear on the market, but a lot of times we hike over a half a mile just to get where the bear is treed.  Hunting with hounds is a fast paced exciting experience that many big game hunters keep coming back for.  Our hounds are seasoned and know exactly what they are doing and they always perform to the highest ability.  My dogs will catch you a bear!  

 

I hire out licensed and bonded California guides to help with the packing and skinning of the bear hunt.  I do this to ensure that you have a great hunt surrounded by great people.  My crew is high energy guys who love to hunt and have a good time whether they are packing out your bear or hanging around the campfire, there is never a dull moment.
